Calling all River Photographers!

Save The River is looking for great River photos to be included in its 2017 – 2018 calendar. We are especially interested in your favorite winter and ‘off season’ images.

If you have a few favorite River photos that you would like to share please send them to us, and include a title and your contact information.

The deadline for submission is Friday, February 10, 2017.

All images will be considered including prints and digital images. Digital images must be high resolution, greater than 300dpi and approximately 3MB or larger. To be considered every photo must include a title and the photographer’s contact information.

Submit your photos to Save The River via e-mail to: info@savetheriver.org with ‘Photo Contest’ in the subject or via mail to Save The River, Attention Photo Contest, 409 Riverside Drive, Clayton, NY 13624. Don’t forget the deadline is Friday, February 10, 2017.

Photos selected for one of the 14 featured images (calendar cover and 13 months) will earn the photographer bragging rights and a complimentary calendar.

Photographers submitting photos grant Save The River a non-exclusive right to use the image for any purpose in perpetuity. Ownership of the image will remain the property of the photographer.

The calendar will be on sale at Save The River beginning Memorial Day. All proceeds from the sale of the calendar go directly to support Save The River’s River protection programs.

Thanks to all the photographers who generously submitted their favorite River photos this year.

We received hundreds of beautiful photos and now have an incredible calendar ready for appreciation adding to your collection.

Don’t forget! We accept photos all year long.

If you have a favorite photo you’d like us to consider for next year, please send them to info@savetheriver.org or drop it in the mail to Calendar Contest, Save The River, 409 Riverside Drive, Clayton, NY 13624.

When submitting please note: Digital images must be high resolution and greater than 300 dpi. (Hint:  The file size will be approximately 3 MB or larger)

Save The River is looking for River photos to be included in its upcoming calendar. In particular winter and ‘off-season’ images, although any and all River photos will be accepted. Photographers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to send photos in to be considered for inclusion in one of the most popular calendars of the St. Lawrence River region.

The deadline for submission is Friday, February 12, 2016.

Photos selected for one of the 14 featured images (calendar cover and 13 months) will earn the photographer a complimentary calendar. All proceeds from calendar sales directly support Save The River’s river protection programs.

All images will be considered including film prints and digital images.  Digital images must be high resolution, greater than 300dpi and approximately 3MB or larger. To be considered every photo must include a photo title and the photographer’s contact information.

Save the date! September 12th, 3-5pm

2015 WSFF Small Poster Final

Save The River and Clarkson University are partnering to bring the Wild & Scenic Film Festival to the River region this fall.

Join us on September 12th at Clarkson University from 3-5pm to enjoy short films and discussion focused on a healthy environment and clean water. This event is free of charge and open to everyone.

It’s time once again to send us your favorite River photos with captions for the 2014-15 Save The River Calendar.  The deadline to submit photos is Friday, February 7, 2014.

All images will be considered including film prints and digital images.  Digital images MUST BE high resolution (300 dpi minimum) and 9×12 inches.  (The file size will be approximately 3 MB or larger.)  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please include your name and contact information when submitting photos. If your photo is selected for one of the 14 featured images (Cover and 13 months) you will receive a complimentary calendar!  Photos submitted become property of Save The River and may be used by Save The River for any purpose.
